Are Synthetic Chemical Pesticides Safe?

Nobody wants bugs in their home. Most use synthetic chemical pesticides sprayed along the walls of a structure in the hopes of killing and/or repelling bugs so they are not in a home.  While that has been the norm, these chemical pesticides are toxic.

The argument is using these toxic chemicals at a low level to kill tiny bugs is such minimal exposure to humans, that it is completely safe.  Well, not so fast…

Rare occasions of exposure to synthetic chemical pesticides does not account for much.  But these man-made toxins are prevalent.  Homes, schools, hospitals, offices, theaters, airplanes, buses, restaurants - and every public structure have these odorless, colorless poisons sprayed all the time!

Ever heard of DDT?  The Poster Child of pesticides-gone-bad?  This ‘safe’ synthetic pesticide was so heralded that it won the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1948.  Of course, it was banned in 1972 by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) due to environmental damages and extinction threats to multiple species.  Safe?

Since then, a gazillion synthetic pesticides have been developed.  While they are not the exact chemical composition as DDT, all synthetic chemical pesticides like DDT have things in common:

·      Synthetic chemicals.  These are man-made chemical compositions that are invented in laboratories.  These ingredients DO NOT EXIST IN NATURE.

·      Humans cannot metabolize these chemicals.  While natural toxins are flushed out through the kidneys and liver, these synthetic chemicals are foreign, not recognized, and cannot leave the body – they continue to accumulate and build up.  Just like plastic in the landfill that cannot go away.

·      They must keep getting more toxic and stronger.  Synthetic chemical pesticides will become ineffective as insect populations become immune.  This is a scientific phenomenon known as Pesticide Resistance.  Therefore, they must become stronger and more toxic to maintain effectiveness against bugs.  (Synthetic pesticides used today are up to 1000% stronger than DDT.)

·      Long-term effects.  Ongoing exposure to synthetic pesticide chemicals is linked to a multitude of medical issues including but not limited to: ADHD, Autism, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Asthma, Cancer, Auto-immune disorders, etc.

Exterminators will tell you the chemicals they use are safe.  They’ll claim they use ‘green’ ingredients like Pyrethrin that is made from crushed Chrysanthemum flowers.

No.

They do not use Pyrethrin as there are not enough Chrysanthemums grown in the world to supply the demand.  Nope - they use synthetic Pyrethroids that are cheap, synthetic chemicals patterned after Pyrethrin.

What is safe?  Nature is perfect and offers Cedar to control bugs.  Cedar does not affect humans, animals or the environment but controls bugs.  Just like Cedar chests and closets where you never see a bug, Greenbug has harnessed Nature’s ingredient of Cedar to offer all natural pest control pesticides that work, are straight from Nature herself and control all the bugs you do not want.

Do not fall for the lie that synthetic chemical pesticides are safe.  Choose Greenbug, straight from Nature!
