Planning an Outdoor Event - What to do for Pest Control?

Something BIG is about to happen - an outdoor wedding?  A Graduation party? Seven-year-old birthday party? Whatever it is, you have a large outdoor event planned and have to think about pest control.  For a large outdoor event, what to do for pest control?

Traditional pest control is you call an Exterminator and several days before the event, they spray large amounts of toxic, chemical pesticides all throughout the area of the party.  Odorless, colorless poisons that will remain intact to keep your party pest-free. So last generation!

Well, Greenbug is NOT your Mother's Pest Control!  Why use chemical toxins when safe, natural ingredients will do the trick? Greenbug offers all-natural pest control options that are alternatives to poisonous, chemical pesticides. Enjoy your outdoor event - without chemicals!

Your pest control depends on several factors.  The number of guests, the square footage of the area you want to be pest-free, and how much time you have in advance to deal with bugs.

On one end of the spectrum, you have a fair amount of people attending an event, and either very short notice when you realize the bugs will be bad or limited access to the event space.  This is a job for Greenbug for People/Pets - a personal pest control product that can be given to each guest, or bottles strewn around an event space so they are readily accessed.  Either give a bottle of Greenbug for People/Pets to each guest sort of like Goody Bags or Parting Gifts. Or put several on each table - enough so everybody has access.

The other end of the spectrum is you have plenty of advance notice of the likelihood of bad bugs and access in advance for a time before the event. This calls for Greenbug Concentrate to be properly diluted and applied via a sprayer - either Back Pack, Hand Held or Hose-End.  This way you can create a bug barrier for the event space.

It is best to apply the properly diluted Greenbug Concentrate at least 5 times and each time allowing it to dry completely.  So, if your event is on the 15th of a month, one schedule is to apply on the 1st, the 3rd, the 6th, the 10th and the morning of the 15th. This allows the Greenbug to dry completely between applications and to build up the barrier.

Another application schedule for an event on the 15th is to spray the morning and late afternoon of the 12th, 13th, and the morning of the 14th making sure the applications are completely dry before adding another.

Weddings are a big hit for Greenbug as NOBODY wants to be bitten by bugs at a wedding!  No worries - Greenbug is here to make sure all outdoor events are bug-free!
